Living through the ego places us in a miserable place. We live based on our immediate desires and hope for such things that we feel blocked from gaining. Some of us wish for authenticity, where our wills and desires align with our goals and are what fuels our joy. It usually takes a highly stressful groundbreaking life event to throw us off the edge so that our ego dies and is reborn.

Such a spiritual awakening comes with electrical activity in the brain because different parts of our brain reintegrate, combining our subconscious and conscious minds and threatening insanity. Our merged state allows us to repair inconsistencies, heal medical issues such as autoimmune disorders and allergies, and become a new self, rebuilding our concepts from the ground up while accessing all our memories at will.

A person who emerges from an awakening needs time to readjust to a newer version of themselves. As a splintered self reintegrates and reforms, a new ego forms, cautious and more aware than the other. This process takes time, and we grow even more capable as we progress.
