When taken from a purely medical or scientific perspective, we get half the story. When taken from a purely spiritual perspective, we get most of the story, yet an incomplete view on how to action a cure. We all know that the brain is bicameral, with a left and right portion, each performing a different function. Little did we know that the shadow mind theory holds true if we consider that the right brain holds our repressed memories and, being the creative side it is, coalesces them into imagery we view every night in dreams.

Now, what if the shadow mind came alive and came forth as another personality? What if we were able to release it to engage in everyday life? Indeed, we can do this in dreams, and when the shadow mind comes free, we ourselves are in the dream world flowing past, just as the shadow mind once was. We have seen this phenomenon many times in the hypnotized.

My bipolar disorder medications keep the brain in a non-erratic state, making it so my shadow personality does not emerge, and I remain somewhat stable and sane. It is the medication itself that promotes the telltale symptoms of bipolar disorder because it suppresses the exact opposite of what needs to be suppressed for me to be a fully typical…
